Tuesday
After work I went home got about a 2 mile walk in with my husband . Later we went to town and grabbed a chicken sandwich ( I was to pooped to cook ) and they were only .99 cents .About 8:00 we went and picked Austin up from his last tennis match and went home . I took a long bath, watched a little t.v and went to bed.

Wednesday - I got up cleaned the house some and done a few clothes before heading out to work . I have a doctors appointment today @ 4:00 to check the baby and to do a sugar test ( Standard baby stuff ). I have to drink a pint of glucose prior to going . Hopefully my sugar will be normal . I don't have a lot planned for today after work since it is a church night . I am hoping to make it home in time to get a walk in if I can get supper cooked fast enough.

Emma Kate
Saturday- I went and pickled up my step- daughters baby ( Emma Kate ) . I kept her all weekend . She is such a good baby . It was a little hard trying to do housework and watch her only b/c I didn't really have a lot of her toys , swing or even a walker to put her in , so I had to hold her more than I needed too. Needless to say I was exhausted by the afternoon . We went to a Surprise Birthday party for a friend and got home around 9 'ish ... we were all tired and went straight to bed... except for Emma she was wide awake and wanted to eat . I am getting some practice in before my little one gets here.

Sunday morning was church . I took Emma with me to my Sunday school class ( needless to say the kids could not focus but they had a ball with her she was trying to eat everyone's Sunday school books ) . I carried her home after the morning services and we went out to eat with some friends and then home to rest some before the next service .

It's Tuesday -I was off work Monday for a furlough day . I cleaned my house and washed loads of clothes. After dropping my son off at school I went to Goodwill I found some training pants for the baby , canisters and a cute basket and some clothes for myself and a couple of necklaces .I really enjoyed myself!! I have to remind myself to take more breaks .It is so hard to keep up with all the housework while I am working full time and preggo . I am finding it more and more challenging everyday just to do my normal activities at home. My belly really is starting to get in the way . lol! I did manage to get the house pretty clean and most of the clothes washed and supper cooked.Late afternoon me and my husband went for a long walk in the woods b/c I was so miserable and knew I needed to exercise before going to bed. I have 3 more months to go and I hope I don't get too much bigger than I am now ...... it really wears your body down and makes you so tired. I really need to start taking some naps . There is always so much to do when I get home and I know it will be waiting on me when I get up , so I don't always relax like I should . Today I plan on eating a light supper and taking a long walk ( I have already called my husband and he is set to go ) . My son has his last tennis match today ( out of town ) so I will not get him until close to 7:00 so I should have plenty of time to get my walk in and maybe relax some . I can't wait until I am home for good and can maybe catch up on it all and be with my family more and start taking better care of ME and my family .Next week Austin is on SPRING BREAK ... I am off again this Friday and will not return to work until next Thursday !!! I should be able to get a lot done and relax too.

BABY ROOM COMPLETE WITH PICTURES HUNG

Thursday afternoon after work – went and seen a friend that just had a baby boy ! He was so precious! Can’t wait till I have mine!

Friday was my off day from work. I got up at 6:00 to get Austin ready for school & I got ready to go to town to go grocery shopping. I was done by 9:30. When I got home I put all the groceries up and cooked me and my husband a huge breakfast of eggs, grits, hash browns and little sausages. So Delicious! We did not eat lunch until around 4:00.We love to do late breakfast; Frankie & I already do this on the weekends and this will help him and me to lose the weight we need to lose after I have the baby and he wants to lose a few lbs his self. I cleaned the house some, washed a lot of clothes & even got to hang them out b/c the weather was gorgeous and my husband hung some pictures in the baby room. After B-fast I got busy baking cookies for the church bake sale. I baked a total of 7.50 dozen for the church and a few for us and my in-laws.

Saturday
They cookies turned out awesome. The bake sale went great we sold about $300.00. The remaining items will be sold today. Afterwards I took my son and a friend of his to see Alice & Wonderland. Before heading there we ran through McDonald’s and picked up some burgers and I got them each one of the new caramel mocha and snuck it into the movies along with some healthy snacks for myself. The movie was awesome …. Everyone really enjoyed it. I could not wait to get home and enjoy the weather ...… it was so sunny. I raked and cleaned yards for a few hours before going in and grabbing a bite to eat .Supper was really simple Austin and I had baked fish, salad and organic Mac & cheese. My husband has been under the weather with a cold so he hasn't had much of an appetite for the last few days.

Sunday – I got up early; my husband and son wanted a big breakfast so I cooked bacon, eggs, hash browns and grits before heading to church , also I put on a pot roast with potatoes & Carrots before heading out the door . After church let out we went to Japanese with friends . I ordered only veggies and I and my husband split a plate. Afterwards we went home to rest before the next service. Sunday after the afternoon service I laid in the hammock and watched my son & husband shoot some hoop , then went in and made homemade mochas and we dipped into the delish pot roast . So mouth watering!!

Today I told my boss that I would be definetly be leaving after I have the baby in July but to please wait to spread the word to the rest of employees . I have not put in an actual resignation date but will sometime after I have the baby . I feel this is what I need to do for my family , I will still be working full time just being at home .My husband and I own a towing business and I will be helping him a lot more to take a load off and taking care of the homelife. Frankie & Austin are really excited , now I will be there when he gets off the bus and be there for all his school breaks ( Can't wait to see what that is like ) and be there for my husband.

My boss and I got a little emotional when I told her but she did suspect it . She has been the BEST boss that I ever had the pleasure of working for . I work with a great bunch of people and they will surely be missed. I have already promsed her that I would come visit . Well I am about to be leaving for the day . Tomorrow I am off for a Furlough day ( day required to take by state with $0 pay ) . It is fine though it has given me the chance to relax some while I am pregnant , I just have to tighten up on my budget .

Unless you've been hiding under rock over the past few years, you have probably noticed that St. Patrick's day has been celebrated with increased zeal each time it rolls around. Celebrated on the 17th March (sometimes it is moved by the church, though will not be again until 2160), the date is said to be that of St. Patrick's death and is a national holiday inn Ireland. But what does the celebration really mean today?

Worked on painting trim in hallway and Olivia's room .
Got a newer shed - Husband & I worked on getting started on swapping things over from old shed to new.
Cleaning on Mechanical Shop Boy do we have a lot of stuff!!! We hauled a lot of stuff off and went through a lot to organize into shed.
Cleaned house & stripped bed linens .
I even got to lay around in my hammock Sunday and watch my son & husband play basketball . I usually play but they can be a little rough while I am pregnant and I watched condemmed ( action movie )

Things for this week so far:

Monday - Husband and I plan to continue working on shed getting shelving put in . Clean house

Proud Moma

I don't know if I mentioned this or not but my 11 1/2 year old made the Tennis Team again this year . Can you tell.......I am so proud of him ?!! He has won every one of his matches. The only way he could play was if he made good grades. He has been A B Honor roll all year....we are so proud of him !

I am 5 months and 3 weeks pregnant today, time is flying by . Things are going great in my pregnancy . I have been able to maintain my diet somewhat and I am only eating for one ......Working full time helps me b/c I bring a certain amount of food to work each day and that is what I have . I do have a few CrAzy cravings that I occasionally give into, but over all I think I have done well . My next doctor's visit on 3/31 I will have my sugar tested , each time we have gone everything has been " Perfect " ... ..Thank you Lord! My husband and I finally came up with a name that we never hear and one that someone else hadn't already picked out ( which was so hard to do , but I think we did it ! lol!) ......... her name will be Olivia Grace . It was not easy at all trying to pick a name out .... this is something she will have to live with forever .lol. It just sounded right to us. I can't wait to meet her & share her with all of you ! I will be posting pictures of her in about 3 1/2 months so GET READY ! Here is a picture of her in an Ultra sound done on February 2nd 2010. What an amazing time , my husband and son were there to witness it . We are all very excited.

It's been a busy week, the week is almost over !!!! Yahoooo! Tomorrow I am off of work so I plan to try to put the baby room together tonight and finish up tomorrow. I am hoping to hit an antique shop tomorrow if I get time and also have some down time. My off days have been extremely busy .with us trying to get this room finished and us both working .My family is planning to go to my moms this weekend to landscape her yards so there is my plans for Saturday .

Oh yes .. great News!!! The baby is really moving a lot now!! It's like I hit the 5 1/2 mark and she decides to start aerobics. lol!

3 DAY WEEKEND

Friday - Spent the day cleaning the house and trying to get it organized , I even got around to organizing my closet .I still have so much more to organize but 1st I need to get rid of some things . I hand washed a pile of baby toys a friend gave me . I have enough toys for the 1st 2 years . loL! My husband and I worked on the baby room some, it is close to being done we need to put one more coat on the ceiling . Pictures are coming soon I promise!

Saturday - husband & son went to the drag races with some friends, they left the house at 7:30 and didn't get home until 10:00 that night . I was invited but at almost 5 1/2 months preggo I figured standing around all day might be a little rough on me. I got up straightened the house some and organized some baby clothes into a chest of drawers and cooked myself a bite to eat . I called my mom and made plans to go see her. My plans were to get started on a double wedding ring quilt hand made...... my mom made one for my son almost 12 years ago and it was his favorite so I wanted my daughter to have one as well. I got to her house around 10:00 a.m and we got started picking the colors out. We even started piecing it together before leaving ... it is so pretty ! We cooked a pot of chicken soup ( so GOOD) and went to my brothers house and did some laundry for him , he was on the way home from having neck surgery . He got home at 5 'ish I built him a fire and visited for a while and went back to my moms . I left her house at 7:15 , I took some pieces home and sewed all that I had . Quilting can be a little addictive and so relaxing . I can not wait to see what this quilt looks like when it is complete. I built myself a fire to knock the chill off and took a long bath and went to bed.

Sunday - was church all day and after church me , husband and son went out to eat with 2 couples.... I ate too much . Afterwards we went to see a friend at the hospital .Then we went home to paint the white baby bed my sister gave me ( it is going to be espresso brown same color as an antique dresser I already have . I can't wait to see everything all pulled together ... I have a feeling it will be beautiful! Back to church and then home to hit the couch ! lol! I was exhausted.

Last night we got the room kiltzed and mudded the hallway by my sons room.My husband did most of this since I am pregnant .... and do not need to be breathing in the fumes. It is ready to paint. We had to go back to Lowes to pick up more pink paint .I can't wait to show you the finished product!!

Sorry I have not been blogging so well at all .LIFE HAS BEEN SO CRAZY BUT GOOD !
A lot has went on in the last several months. We built my mom a house only on weekends ( we accomplished this in 38 days over a about a 4 month period with some weekdays!!). So very happy with the outcome! While also trying to do a little work on my own house, It was very tiring but so worth it .My hubby son and I went on vacation to Tennessee for a week in October with Friends we went to Dolly wood , wonderworks , apple barn ( beautiful ) and a few more places . After returning from vacation I found out I was pregnant .HUGE SURPRISE ! I had prayed for another child and it was 2 weeks later I was pregnant. GOD is good! I am now 5 months pregnant with a baby GIRL ( we went on 2/2 for an ultra sound ). I am due on July 7th ! We are so THRILLED! The hubby & I are remodeling her room for her right now. It will be princess pink ( almost a light blush pink ) with white beaded ceilings and wood floors. I can't wait till it is finished! We started on it last week and it should be done by the middle of next week ( so 1/2 weeks) . We are painting a baby bed my sister gave me espresso brown same as an antique dresser I already have, I am trying to be thrifty since times are so hard now and just trying to recycle as much as possible. I hate wasting. I had thought about continuing work for a little while after I have the baby to build our dream home but my husband and I came to the conclusion for me to stay home and be with the family and help with our family Business Towing & Recovery , I can work in the office and I will be able to breast feed ( I feel this is best & if I go back to work I will not be able to do that as well). It will be so nice b/c I can still be their for our daughter and for my son when he gets off the bus and for the summers and my husband .....family means way more to us & the house we are in is suffice enough .

These little heart shaped goodies came in a variety of different flavors: Lemon Poppyseed, Cranberry, Chocolate, Raisin, Date, Apricot and Apple. They were all so delish! ! The cakes were surprisingly filling (the serving size is 1 heart, 2 servings per packet) which winds up being just right for a filling snack. They were sweet enough to taste the flavor they were (Lemon, Chocolate etc) but not overly sweet at all. Here is a sample of the ingredients for the Lemon Poppyseed flavor:

Austin and meeeeeeeeee!

Today I am back at work and in the full swing of things. Austin is back at school ( Thank you Lord for him getting well) . @ 4:45 today I am going to the doctor to have an MRI done on my hand ..... I have had problems with it since April . Last week I went to an orthopedic doctor ,he put me on inflammatory medicine. .. which does seem to be helping! The MRI will just be to see if I actually have an Ganglion cyst or if is inflamation .The results should be in Next Monday 8/24.

Accomplishment today
Made a list of house bills & Projects , I have made a promise with myself that I have to choose a 2 to 3 a week to accomplish ( this depends on how big the projects is) lol!. Here are a few I plan to start with , that do not cost or cost very little .

Seal Skate ramp

Paint deck /nail boards down – white or light gray (buy paint 5 gallon)

Clean Paint booth out – make into exercise room

Paint Austin’s closet door

I even pampered my feet ... i know I am spoiling myself. lol! It felt great!

I had to take a picture of the orchid my sister gave to me probably a year ago.. it is finally blooming.. isn't it gorgeous!

I made my bed and cleaned my room . My sister Melinda will tell you this room usually gets the most nelected. ha-ha! I always do the parts of the house people see 1st .I am usually tired by the time I get to this room .

I organized my silverware....... I have been on a roll.

Where do I start! It has been a very busy weekend for me . To start off Austin came home sick on Thursday with flu like symptoms and has been out of school for a few days now. I took this time to clean around the house. I even got to the windows , bathrooms , organizing cabinets , scrubbing the door tracks , cleaning fridge , melting candles down , straightening the shed out . Once i got going ... I couldn't hardly stop. I even have baked some goodies each day for Austin . We watched a movie yesterday ... It's just like Heaven , I had to beg Austin to watch ........ but once it got started he loved it. I am glad I took the time to sit down with him , It felt great . Sometimes I let the stress of life and

work and the MILLIONS of things I have to do at home hinder me from doing the things you love. In the next few weeks/years to come I am focusing on what I want out tof life and what is good for me. I have always put me last ...I am learning that I have to take care of me 1st or I will not be abl to take care of anyone else. This doesn't mean I always get my way but it means I will think of how I feel and what I want sometimes instead of always thinking of everyone else. I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life . I can't wait to see what it holds and what GODS will is for me.

Monday 8/4/09.

This year is flying by ( I CAN'T BELIEVE IT IS AUGUST ALREADY) ! Christmas will be here b-4 u know it!

We have been having way to much fun ( I know is that really possible ) lol!
School has started back for my 11 year old son and My husband and I have got to get down to business and get some things done around the house . It seems almost inpossible to get it all done and work full time too . I think I can do it if I can just prioritize a little better!

Yesterday after work I organized my sons closet and went through all of the office paper work at the house and organized it ( I have to make files for it this week ) . I cleaned house some and got a lot done . This week I plan to get a lot acomplished , I plan to do a little every day and not overwhelm myself.

I am a little behind on my blogging , I have had so much going on in my life. My husbands grandma died 2 weeks ago and then this past week a church friend died of cancer... he was only 48. So sad ! He will definetly be missed he was wonderful person and an inspiration to so many people. Today is my 2nd day of raw! I got home last night and did really good on my diet . We went to church and grocery shopping for the 4th of JULY BLOWOUT , went home unloaded everything and rushed to the 9:45 movie and saw ICE AGE 3 ( FUNNY ! ) . I went through the McDonalds to pick up Frankie & Austin up a burger ... they smelt so gooooooooooooood!!! But I didn't eat any! I weighed in this morning .... GUESS WHAT !!! I lost 2 lbs! I was so excited. I am going to keep this raw thing up !!! My sister is picking me up some advocados, carrots and salad mix and bringing to me so I don't CHEAT! lol! I will update later and let you know how I am doing .

Today July 1st 2009 I am starting a 30 raw diet plan .My goal is to lose 20 lbs! I am now up to 150 ( the highest weight I have ever been) . I don't understand why I have gained all of this weight . I make really healthy food choices and exercise daily . Anyways after talking to my sister last night about both of us gaining weight we decided to do this together. We will hold each other accountable and LORD willing shed these extra lbs along with Prayer an some work on our part! I got up around 6' ish and got my coffee on and downloaded some pictures for my reviews that I plan to do today. Work went great ! I did my 2 mile power walk here at work . I swung into Harvey's on the way home and got some sausage that was on sale ( I am trying to gather all the ingredients for my low country boil on July 4th ) . When I got home I completed my reviews and finished painting Austin's bathroom ( I had to go back and sand down what I did , It didn't lay as smooth as I wanted. Hopefully I am finished this time. Frankie finished caulking a few things . I put up seven quarts of yellow squash in the freezer last night ( all from my garden! ) . We are getting so much done around the house ! We laid off on skiing and knee-boarding ( I miss it but we still have plenty of HOT weather to do that . Next weekend we have a church trip planned for the kids that involves water! Yahh ! I can't wait!

Fresh Produce and I grew it!

Whew Monday was a very long day for me !! Work went great ! I learned a new program today for work ... its always exciting to learn something new . After work I went home changed and headed right to work in the yards ... I couln't wait to get home! I got the tree house and back porch cleaned and got a lot more trimming around the yard done. My list I made for myself is getting shorter and shorter! It was so hot out I was pouring sweat within minutes. I picked more squash from the garden.......... The squash are doing awesome ! I got an eggplant and some tomatoes and a cucumber. I cleaned up a bit and Frankie & I headed to a friends house to pick some blueberries . My friend told me the bushes were loaded .......I got there and he only had a couple of bushes I got a quart or two, not what I was expecting ... but I was still happy it. I have another place I can go pick at soon and they have tons of blueberries!

Well I didn't get it all done but I got alot done . We went out Friday night to an all you can eat seafood buffet with 2 brothers of mine ( they called about 4:00 Friday afternoon ) . I didn't eat buffet I ordered a salad ( I was so proud of me ! ) . We got up Saturday morning and cleaned yards and worked on the house . We got a phone call late Friday afternoon, my husbands grandma is not doing well and they don't give her long to live. We drove a few hours to go see her on Saturday afternoon about 3 ish . I was glad we did it , she hasn't spoke in 2 days and when she seen us ....... she said she loved us ( that made us feel really good) . I got to see all of my husbands cousins and Aunts! It was a great visit. We got home at almost 12:00 am! We were so tired! Sunday morning we went to church afterwards we brought a friend home for Austin. They had a good time they played rockband on the wii and skateboarded some while me and frankie worked in the yards & fed the chickens. Sunday afternoon we got cut the sprinklers on the yard and watered everything ! I plan to finish this list today ! I want everything to look good for my July 4th BLOWOUT! Tonight agfter I finish my list I also plan to finish some product reviews .

I just made myself a list on my lunch break of everything I want to do today and this weekend. We will see how far I get on this huge list! lol! This morning I had a small bag of honey almond protein cereal and a bluberry chobani greek yogurt for b-fast and coffee of course! Lunch will be more salmon patties and a small fruit salad. I am maintaining the same weight , not really gaining or losing. I need a jump start .I plan to try to add more exercise in . I don't think it is my eating because I really do not eat that much . FRESH picked flowers for ME? !

Thursday was a busy day here at work for me . I had a meeting to attend along with plenty of work. I did manage to get a 2 mile power walk in . I had leftover salmon pattties for lunch along with a fruit salad. When I got home Frankie had me a vase of handpicked flowers waiting with a fresh pot of coffee and a little love note.... ( How sweet is that ) . We were both wore out from this week we have been going to bed late every night and plus we both got an eye infection . We decided to go out for my favorite ........ Chinese ( I did really good , I had one plate . Afterwards we went home to water the yards and garden and some flowers that we bought . I plan to plant those Sat. morning .

I couldn't wait to get home!Frankie was gone doing some work and Austin was off with his cousin! I went straight in the house got my coffee and through some shorts on and went straight to work in the flower beds! I got 2 flower beds cleaned out and several piles of leaves picked up! I picked my squash again! I am having to pick it every two days ... UNBELIEVABLE! I am not complaining at all .I am so happy it is doing so well! I worked until 8:30...I had to make myself go in . I went in and cooked Frankie some supper.....he got home around 9:45. I hit the tub ... and we stayed up until about 1:00 in the morning talking! I paid for it the next day! lol! TIME gets away when you are having fun!

Wednesday
Frankies mom is coming to town today . I set everything out to make salmon patties for lunch . I went home at lunch and made chocolate on chocolate cookies , salmon patties , cabbage , cheese grits and cooked some squash ( I think we have had squash every night .. well it seems like it!) I sure am not going to waste it.The meal turned out beautifully! Tonight is family night at my church , everyone brings a dish ....you can probably guess what I cooked ...... SQUASH . haha! After church Frankie went fishing with some friends ( he invited me but I declined .. I knew he would be out late ) I went home and painted some in the guest bathroom and cleaned the house and did some filing! NEEDLESS to Say .. I was up until about 12:50 AM! Frankie walked in about 1:00 AM ( he caught ONE fish ) .. can you believe that! . I have to go to bed on time tonight... or I am going to kill myself with this no sleeping mess .lol ! I am just to hyped up!

Thursday 6/11/09 YOU BARS Trying out the trail mix & Protein shakes!

Between my husband and I we have devoured the You bars up! I tried the trial mix and protein shakes with ORGANIC soy milk with a few strawberries. I chilled my soy milk in the freezer for about an hour so it would be like an icey! SO GOOD! This was better than going to town and buying a cold treat and so much more healthier for you ! Got up around 6:30.... Had to drag out of bed. The weekend was just to good to me! LOL!
1st thing I did was have my coffee ( ALWAYS ) !Then 4-b-fast I had aMacro Green bar Yogurt With Grapes & banana. I did my 2- mile power walk @round 11:00!!! I am working so hard on trying to stay on my diet & keep the exercising up ! I have a trip coming up to go to Florida with some friends and I want to look my best!! I can't wait to get away for a few days ! For lunch I had leftover japenese and a salad. Just as I was finishing up lunch my brother brought his step son by for a surprise visit. Frankie had me coffee ready and I made me and Frankie a Egg With fresh green onions right out of our garden and a patty sausage . YUMMY! After that we all headed out in the yards to work . We got all the yards mowed and weed-eated. Everything looks so good!! We even got the trash taken off! I am so proud of us! I picked a huge mess of squash out of the garden and the kids and Frankie picked my red potatoes for me! I had a whole bucket full! I cooked some for lunch along with squash and grilled porkchops! YUMMY!! We ate outside ...... it was so nice!!!

Friday Yippee!!! Finally the weekend is Here!!! I am so excited!!! Today is the last day of the Church VBS. I have enjoyed it a little TIRING but so worth it ! I got my Macro Greens in yesterday late afternoon !! I was Excited ! Frankie and I brought the box in the truck on the way to VBS and had to try one of the bars so we split one !! Oh my GOODNESS! So DELICIOUS ! I did my 2 mile walk and had a nice BIG salad for lunch . Yah for me! I talked to frankie just a little while ago and he has me a cantaloupe and a watermelon ! Yah I am so excited! I am going to have a watermelon icee!

Wednesday

Over all today was a great Day ! I really didn't eat a lot because I was so busy at work . I had a banana with ORGANIC nut butter on it for a snack ( I got this idea from my sister ) .I had to try it to see if it was really that good. ...and it WAS! For lunch I had a small Bowl of butter beans and a small piece of fresh baked ham . I had carrots dipped in hummus . Yum!! Last night was VBS and the church feeds you , I had a small bowl of homemade spaghetti for supper. I didn't think that was to bad being I didn't really eat a lot thru the day!

Thursday

I got to work a little late Austin had an ortho appt. .Austin will be getting his braces on July 16th @ 8:10 ! He was full of questions..... and I had al the answers since I had braces b-4. Well I am about to start my day with a bowl of fruit with Organic Nut Butter! I went for a 2 mile walk at lunch .. it started raining on me so I had to run in and finish walking around my department. For lunch I cooked homemade salmon patties and I had a salad. Ity hit the SPOT!

Saturday I went to Nephews graduation . Sunday was church after church me & Frankie and went to Ruby Tuesdays for lunch ( my sister gave me coupons for one free meal ) THANKS MELINDA! ... and I had to use them before they EXPIRED! I ordered steak the salad bar came with it . I ate the salad bar and a small portion of steak and took the rest home for Frankie . He had it the next day .

I took Monday off to be with the boys. It was so nice! We relaxed all day cooked steaks and went to the pool! Tuesday was a BLUUURRRRR! lol! I was late this morning for work !I couldn't sleep last night so Frankie and I decided we would get up and go walking. We went for a 4 1/2 mile walk through the neighborhood. Along the way we saw a fox , a beaver and a armadillo !! Frankie chased them ......... it was so funny!! I really do love living in the country you see so many things! I have been super buzzzzzzzzyy this week . We have Vacation Bible school at church and I am helping with that . So it leaves very little time at the house but that is A-ok ........... everyone is having a blast and the kids in my class loooooooooooooove me! I am still doing my walking everyday and eating good!

My husband me and Austin started the MEMORIAL DAY weekend off Friday afternoon by grilling steak and shrimp on Kabobs & FRESH corn on the cob and some chilled white grape sparkling cider.............DELICIOUS!!! Saturday my sweetie and I we spent the day together ........ Austin went over to his cousins to play. Saturday evening we drove to my moms & visited some cousins from out of town & picked Ausin & his cousin up . We went to the river Sunday in-between church services & fished & let the kids play in the water. Monday morning EARLY me & my hubby got up washed the truck & boat and got a picnic packed and drove about an 1 1/2 to the lake . We skied , knee boarded and tubed all day. We got home around 9:30 last night.........We had a BALL! I did great on my diet this weekend !!! I am still drinking the grape juice & apple cider vinegar to curb my appetite & LOADS of Salad. I haven't lost anything but nor have I gained !! YippEEE! I have busy week ahead of me , I have a retirment party here at work , a Graduation party for my nephew On Friday and a graduation to go to on Saturday morning and then I will meet up with my brothers & sisters to go to moms to clean her house & yards !!!

I've been EXTREMELY busy lately with my work and home life, I am posting for Monday -Thursday . This week has flown by !!I haven't really been able to get outside ANY this week to work in the yards b/c of all the rain!!! I did manage to get some corn in the garden on Monday ! Guess what!!!!! I looked at it today and it is already up ... I think it may be the manure we are putting on it. Tuesday I made a Ortho appt for my son ..... I think he made need braces , he is dreading that. I got all the laundry done and folded and put up and managed to go through some cabinets and do some organizing ... huge accomplishment for me since I work full time. On Wednesday, I ran by Wal-mart to grab a spinach pizza and some salad for supper since it was church . After church I watched TLC What not to wear .. loooooooove that show it is so MOTIVATING !! I have managed to do my 2 mile power walk every day here at work.. SO PROUD of me ! This morning I got up at about 5:00 straightened up the house some & put a roast on for supper tonight ( I laid the carrots , fresh red potatoes and onions out to add to it later after work . I plan to cook some brown rice with it and another veggie. I took my son for his Ortho appt.... and does have to have braces , they should be putting them on within a month and a half. I think he was a little excited. Well I better get to work .. I have loads to do !

B-fast oatmeal & blueberries with a nice cup of hot coffee and a side of grape juice W/Mother apple cider vinegar! I am doing this ..desperately hoping to lose a few LbS, so I can get ready for summer time!!!! I have been drinking the apple cider vinagar for a few days now ... and I can really tell the difference!!!!! It really curbs your appetite!

My Garden!!! It is growing!!! Yahh! I will have fresh veggies soon! I really try not to purchase any veggies from the store if I can help it. For me all NATURAL is the way to go!!!

Here is the breakfast casserole , grits & fruit salad , I made for my mother in law for Mothers day ! I had b-fast on her table before 8:00 Sunday morning ! Not bragging but it was delicious!!!

Austin made me this bouquet of flowers & got me these two sweeeeeeeet cards ! How Sweet ! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful son in my life! I love him more than anything in this World! The pink card had a Me !Me ! Me pin .. I wore it all day !!!!!LOL! The other card of 2 dogs saying .. I always have so much fun when I am with you ! I made a yummy breakfast casserole b-fast for my mother in law and I was taken out to lunch . ..Chinese! YUMMY!!!!!

I was so excited to get in my Gnu bars, as soon as the package was opened, we all decided to try one! I tried the orange cranberry and it was yummy! I really loved the cranberries in the bar and it was really filling! Austin, my 10-year old tried the chocolate brownie and he LOVED it and let me tell you, he is one picky child so that is saying ALOT! The hubby tried the Banana Walnut, he really likes bananas so this was definitely his favorite! We got these in on Monday and there are only like 2 bars left and they won't last long! I definitely give Gnu bars a thumbs up, I would recommend these to everyone- they're a great snack, for kids for lunches, on the road, etc. Thanks to Gnu Foods for sending me these yummy goodies!

Monday

Went to therapy on my hand for 30 minutes. I have a gangelyion cyst. ( never had one before ..PAINFUL!!) . The doc is hoping it will go away with therapy if not I will have to have a minor Surgery soon .

I picked up my sister on Monday afternoon after work , she will be with me thru Thursday . I worked on Austin's bathroom (it's almost done - grouting the tile and a little touching up on the paint ! ) Yippeee! Later I grilled lean porkcops ( these were marinated in Dale seasoning ) Delicious! We had fresh cut brocolli , salad , and Mac & cheese ( this was for Austin). My sister Carla and I were up until about 1:00 A.M. catching up on everything.

What a blur !Worked all day . Came home grilled hotdogs & burgers W/ all the trimming, baked beans and salad. Worked on Austin's bathroom Watched the BIGGEST loser . I fell asleep , probably b/c I was up so late the night b-4!

Wednesday

I woke up with my hand KILLING me ! I went to therapy again .

I have been really busy today. I am the inventory control person at a Hospital and we have Physical inventory next week . So I have to make sure that everything is riight! If not it will show next week . After work I went to town to try to locate a wishing well for my nephew ( he is getting married tomorrow!!!! I found Nothing !!! I called a few places and FINALLY found a Money tree $$$$! Yahh! My husband will pick up for me tomorrow! Got home had a raw salad and went dropped my sister off at my brothers next door to me and went to church . Afterwards hung out with a few church friends and got home @round 10:00!

I had so much fun at my sister's this weekend! These pictures are of us trying out the new lashes that my sister got in the mail- we took so many pics! We also went walking while Austin Skateboarded for about an hour, but just mainly hung out, had coffee and had fun! We are planning a weekend soon to go out with the all four of us and Austin (Austin has been begging to go to Putt Putt, so we may do that and dinner). I'm excited about our new eating/exercise plan too- we have agreed that we can not eat anything after 5:00 unless it's something really light like cucumber slices or a piece of fruit- I will keep an update on how it is working!

TGIF!! Me and Austin are at my sister's house this weekend- we picked up pizza & crazy bread last night, went to redbox rentals and got Yes Man and Marley and Me (SO excited to see it!!). I was STARVING, I hadn't eaten anything all day, so I snitched a bread stick and had one on the way. Then we headed to the house and ate pizza, made some yummy coffee and hit the hot tub! The hot tub was AWESOME!! It felt so good on my back- I felt like I had just got finished having a massage-after we headed back in to relax and watch Yes Man. I was so exhausted from running all day and working overtime that I knocked out in the middle of the movie. We ended up getting to bed about 3 a.m. Needless to say, I slept in until 9 a.m this morning and slept SO good!

Sorry I've been MIA, I've been so busy, so many things going on, I haven't had time to blog- here is an update of the past week.

Saturday I worked in the yards all day until about 7:30. I replanted my garden ( lima beans , Red potatoes , tomatoes , bell pepper , squash . I still have pumpkin , water melons , corn , okra , and cantaloupe to plant. We grilled chicken , corn on cob , roasted onion for supper sat . night and ate under the stars ( candle light) . It was so nice.

Reunion was on Sunday , I ate healthy to be at a reunion !!!

Monday I was off work , I pulled all my flowers out of one bed and laid some matting down so the weeds couldn't come through ( this took all day ..Since I work it is too hard trying to weed flower beds too so I thought I deserved it lol! ! I got some mulch for my flower beds too!! It looks great !!!

Tuesday...I ate supper with the in-laws, Broccoli , chicken , noodles and roasted onion .
*Today for b-fast Wheat bagel sausage w/egg
lunch carrots ( raw and 2 oranges).

I stayed up late talking to my fave sister Melinda- I think we got off the phone about 10:30 ish!I woke up about 6:00 this morning and did a few side and front kicks something to tone these legs! Today -I kind of ate what I had here at a the office . I didn't put a lot of thought into it b/c I hit the floor running here at work trying to get the Property area cleaned for my Freebie Friday .

B-Fast - 1 cup cinnamon crisp for breakfast, 1 cup of honeydew & cantaloupe
Walked 2 miles and did some side and front kicks this morning
Lunch -broccoli , 2 pieces of fish , and a half a cup raw carrots

This afternoon, I plan to go home and cook a dish so I can go spend the afternoon with my mom . She is leaving to go to California to see her mom ( my grandmother).

My weekend was busy! Saturday morning , I cleaned house and washed clothes all morning!Saturday afternoon at about 1:30 Austin & I went to a wedding shower for my nephew Adam. My brother, David gave me 2 lemon trees. I am so excited! I went by my brother, Matthews house afterwards to see his flowers; he has recently built a house and has done a lot of landscaping ( It looked great ! ) ! Austin spent the night with his cousin. What A day ! Needless to say I didn't get home until about 8:00. At about 11:00 Frankie and I went for about a 1 1/2 hr. walk. I didn't get into bed until about 2:00 A. M b/c I couldn't sleep. Sunday morning I went to Church then on a Wrecker call with husband to Albany, by that time it was time to go back to the afternoon churc service . After church I went to visit some cousins. And here we are Monday already!!! Thank you Lord for another Day !
